    Residence_LifeWhy live on campus?

Residence life is a critical part of your college years. It is when you try independent living for the first time, make your own choices, and learn to take responsibility for your decisions. It also allows you to have more fun by getting more involved in campus activities. And, in the process, you develop the friendships and relationships you will depend on for the rest of your life. This is a big part of why many Flagler students live on campus, and also why residential living is required for freshmen.

Will I be comfortable living at Flagler?

As a residential student at Flagler College, you will find yourself part of a friendly and welcoming learning community. This is not a campus that leaves you to make the transition from high school to college all by yourself, but a genuine community with a strong set of traditional values. In fact, every aspect of the Flagler experience, from our class attendance policy to our prohibition against alcohol and inter-dorm visitation, is designed to create a nurturing environment that encourages scholarship, good citizenship, and high ethical standards.
