WSU names College of Education dean from Purdue

Washington State University has named Anthony G. Rud Jr. as dean of its College of Education.

Rud is head of Purdue University's Department of Educational Studies and will move from Indiana to Pullman to start work in mid-August.

WSU Provost Warwick Bayly, who announced the appointment Wednesday, says Rud's strong background in education and administration will bring leadership and stability to the college.
