Northwest side’s new college not quite there

If all had gone as planned, hundreds of college students in northwest Harris County would be preparing to return to class this month, freed from the hassle of commuting 30 miles or more to a traditional college campus.

But plans for a new type of college experience, offering up to 50 degree programs from a group of universities in one location, once again have been delayed.
