  • Today, there is a strong need to strengthen our economy. Our President has been striving laboriously to ensure that all young Americans deserve a world class education which will hugely benefit them as well as our country on the whole.

Higher education is imperative for those wishing to get good jobs. It is essential for our nation to out educate the rest of the world if we wish to win in the future. Some of the most intelligent and intuitive minds have been produced by our nation. Students, especially the brighter ones from everywhere come here to study at our universities.

The last century defined some significant scientific breakthroughs. Stupendous inventions such as the personal computers, DNA and the internet were born in our very own schools, laboratories and businesses.

Today, sadly we find that our science and math education is left far behind as compared to other nations in the world. One third of our children are unable to complete higher education for various reasons. There are more high school dropouts in rural America than college graduates.

The ‘Race to the Top’ program was initiated by our President for this very purpose. This program essentially challenged the K-12 schools and pitted them against each other in competition to perform better and enhance the teaching quality to deliver effective results for students.

He called on every single American to strive to recruit at least 100,000 new science, math and technology teachers for our classrooms. He has definitely revitalized the community colleges in our country and has ensured college access to millions of students to ensure that they are capable of passing on the required skills and training for the next generation to stand tall in the 21st century.

USDA is an organization that is a part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Campaign. This initiative focuses on raising a healthier student generations well fed and completely ready to learn. This campaign aims at solving the issue of childhood obesity as students who are constantly being teased or made fun of for their weight lack self confidence and do not study well.

A historic legislation was passed recently due to this organization’s efforts to enhance school meals quality and to ensure that every single kid is well fed, healthy and ready to learn with focus.
In the rural areas, USDA supports education by helping build and upgrades many schools and libraries.

Some of the finest universities are supported by USDA that also supports the best youth organizations. Youth programs provide American children with a lot of learning opportunities and teach them how to be leaders in their communities and good citizens of our nation.

At their offices around the country, USDA offers a range of internship opportunities. Here the bright children learn, grow and contribute towards building stronger rural communities. To succeed in today’s highly competitive world, it is imperative to give our children top notch education. This in fact is the only way to build a strong future America.
